If you look at previous Android smartphone that can be used to turn on the lights, now NASA is developing innovative team that is not less useful.

NASA research and development team has developed a smartphone case that can detect cancer or diabetes. Implementation of this technology has been designed in such a way that we could see some form of integration on the smartphone. This technology uses 32 bar nanosensor that reacts to various stimuli from the environment. Each bar is said to consist of nanostructures of different materials and can even provide real-time monitoring.

For example, there are a number of studies that show some form of correlation between lung cancer and nitrous oxide, as well as diabetes and level of acetone in the breath of people with diabetes, so just by breathing on the sensor, increased levels of nitrogen oxide and acetone may be an indicator of lung cancer lung disease or diabetes.

Well.. This of course does not necessarily guarantee or necessarily a diagnosis that you have lung cancer or diabetes, but for those who want regular health check, the tool can be quite useful and potentially, as well as cheaper than a trip to the doctor. In addition to medical applications, NASA also saw the military aspect, in which the chip can also be used to help detect chemical threats.
